Hey does anyone know any tutorials on making faux leather satachels/bags?

Hey I want a leather or faux leather bag. I looked them up on the internet on ebay and stuff and they are all very expensive, I was wondering if anyone e had any tutorials on making them or know where I can find one? I need one for a steampunk costume. Many thanks.
