How many passengers are there on a packed tube train?

I get the tube every day, and the eastbound Central Line train out of London at rush hour is always packed beyond belief with people pushed up against the windows. It's not a comfortable way to travel!

I was wondering what the nominal maximum occupancy is supposed to be on a deep-run tube train, and what it actually is at rush hour. I am certain these trains are dangerously overcrowded.

What is a VPN?

VPN is (Virtual Private Network) were first used by companies to enable their employees to securely access internal systems such as email remotely (e.g. from home or while on business trips). Today they are increasingly being used for personal use by individuals to protect their privacy while online in public places (e.g. when using the wi-fi connection in a cafe) or in a country where the internet is censored / blocked (e.g. China, Saudi Arabia…).
